About the method

Yoga therapy is a treatment method utilizes the principles and practices of yoga to enhance physical and mental health. It takes a holistic approach, treating the individual as a whole – not just addressing physical issues, but also the mind and thoughts.

During yoga therapy sessions, we will learn and observe how postures (asanas), breathing exercises (prama), and meditation affect. We will explore what contributes to relaxation, what energizes and strengthens, improves body flexibility, or alleviates and tension. Together, we will uncover patterns of thinking, holding, and coping, seeking the desired and beneficial responses to release stagnation and promote flow and well-being.

The key difference between yoga therapy and regular yoga is that therapeutic yoga is customized for each according to their personal needs. A yoga therapist will assess the patient's health condition – whether it involves chronic pain, mental health issues like depression or anxiety, or other psychological challenges – create a treatment plan focused on alleviating symptoms and improving overall well.
